Avoid Travel Hiccups: Know Your Bali Visa Essentials!

Find Out More Information for Visas to Bali - Indonesia

Hey there! Planning a trip to Bali? Here's your quick guide to dodge those visa snags and sail smooth into this island paradise.

First things first, check if you're among the lucky ducks from countries around Asia who can just arrive into Indonesia visa-free for 30 days (all ASEAN countries + East Timor).

If you're eyeing a longer stay or your passport doesn't cut it for visa exemption, grab a Visa on Arrival (VoA) or e-VOA. Both are good for 30 days with a chance to extend for another 30. Most of us will qualify for these, but have a look at the official website for the official list:

The VoA's a breeze at IDR500k(around USD$35). If queues aren't your thing, the e-VOA is your friend. Apply online up to 90 days before your trip, and it'll set you back the same amount as the VoA.

Remember, for the VoA or e-VOA extension, you can either brave the immigration office yourself or play it cool and hire an agent to do the legwork.

For those looking to hang ten for over 60 days or don't qualify for the VoA, the B211A Visit Visa's your ticket. This one needs a bit of prep work before landing in Indonesia and is single entry only.

Oh, and don't forget that you have to flash a proof of onward travel – meaning you need to show a ticket of your exit.

There`s actually quite a few countries that ask for proof of exit. That either happens when you check-in for your destination flight and/or go through Immigration.

Myself usually have all my tickets booked in advance but sometimes when you`re making last minute changes it doesn't happen. Thats when I issue a mock plane ticket that is valid for 48hrs, I use Onward Travel. Super easy to use and very safe. Check them out on:
